Sales Hot Tub Des Moines – Three Easy Ways to Reduce Stress

Wednesday, July 11th, 2012

Stress - no one likes it, yet most of us experience it. As one of the most common health problems, finding easy ways to reduce stress is a priority for many of us. So what can we do when it seems like all we’re doing is adding to the tension and pressure? If you’re looking for a few easy and convenient ways to reduce your stress and live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life, take a few minutes and try these suggestions.

Stop and Breathe - A simple way to reduce stress instantly is to stop and breathe. When the body becomes tense and stress levels are at their greatest, physiological changes occur that make coping with challenging problems difficult. Heart rate and blood pressure increase while stress hormones are released. By learning to control these changes with breathing, it’s possible to reduce stress. Make sure to breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale through your mouth to get the most benefit from each breath. Breathing and meditation techniques can help relieve stress by quieting the mind, making it easier to focus.

Take a Quick Break - Sometimes, during an unusually hectic day or a nerve-racking situation, simply removing yourself from the environment is all it takes to relieve tension and more effectively manage stress. In many cases, while you may not be able to eliminate the cause, you can at least collect your feelings, regroup and recharge. Taking a short walk or grabbing a cup of coffee gives scattered emotions a chance to catch up and reevaluate. Taking an occasional “five” is an important part of learning to manage stress and essential for optimizing performance.

Relax in a Hot Tub - One of the easiest, most effective ways to reduce stress is by soaking in a hot tub. Submerging your body in the warm, massaging water even for only twenty minutes at a time releases tension and relaxes the mind. Hydrotherapy has been used for centuries as a natural and powerful stress reliever, combining heat, massage and buoyancy to calm the mind and body, reducing stress. Heat relaxes tense muscles and massaging jets target deeply to soothe, relax and calm. A total body massage accompanied by warm, bubbly water is exactly what the doctor ordered for reducing stress, leaving you rejuvenated, refreshed and ready to face what lies ahead.

Stress is a nuisance. It’s uncomfortable, inconvenient and if left unchecked, can lead to more serious health conditions. Luckily, while most of us deal with stress at one time or another, it’s possible to find easy strategies for minimizing the tension and feeling better. Practice deep breathing or meditation techniques, remove yourself from the stressful situation by taking a quick break and take full advantage of a hot tub for relaxing muscles and easing tension.

Buy Hot Tub Minneapolis – Easy Cleaning Tips For Your Hot Tub

Friday, June 15th, 2012

Your hot tub is the focal point of your backyard and the place where friends and family enjoy coming together for good times and laughter. You use it often and that’s a good thing. But how do you keep it looking great with so much use? Here are a few easy cleaning tips for your hot tub that will leave your investment looking as shiny and new as the day you brought it home.

Cover - Anyone with a hot tub understands the importance of a quality cover for keeping dirt, leaves, and other debris out of the water and on the ground where it belongs. But over time, all of that dirt and grime can collect on your cover, leaving ugly marks or dried on piles of yuck. Here’s what you do. First, remove your cover completely and spray with a hose to remove any stuck on grime.

Next, make a solution using a mild dishwashing soap or baking soda with water to clean the stubborn stains. Using a sponge or soft bristled brush, scrub the cover gently in a circular motion and rinse clean. Remember, don’t get soap on the inside of the cover and always wipe completely dry. Finally, add a quality protectant to your cover to condition you cover. Ask you dealer what cleaners they have that will help keep your cover in good shape

Exterior - How about the exterior of your hot tub? Cleaning your hot tub cabinet or base is easier than you think. In fact, you can use a household rag or facecloth with mild soap and water to wipe off most marks or scuffs. There are mild cleansers available that may do a better job with tough stains and most are relatively inexpensive. In addition, always use a protectant after cleaning to keep your cabinet shiny and new.

Shell - The shell or interior lining of your hot tub sees a lot of activity and should be cleaned frequently to look its best. Use a soft rag or nylon scrubber to gently wipe away dirt. Make certain to pay close attention to the areas inside your tub where the water line falls. If you have pillows, remove and clean with a mild soap. When you’re finished cleaning, always make certain to rinse the shell completely to remove any residue that may be left behind. As with the exterior, there are non-abrasive hot tub cleansers available that are designed specifically for the shell. You may find some of these products do a better job on tough areas than soap alone.

Enjoying a clean, well-cared for hot tub involves putting in a little effort to keep it clean and free of marks, scuffs, dirt and grime. Make certain to protect your cover, exterior and shell by keeping them washed, rinsed and conditioned when appropriate. A little effort goes a long way and the more you care for your investment, the more it will give back to you for years to come. Your hot tub dealer is the best place to go to get advice, products and services that will keep your hot tub running smoothly for years to come.

Hot Tub Sale Des Moines – Give Mom What She Really Needs and Wants This Mother’s Day

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012

Anyone who has the privilege of being a mom understands the joy of having children. From the moment they’re born to the moment they head off to college or to start a rock band, we love them. That’s not to say that mom doesn’t need a break every now and then. Whether she’s running a business or running errands, give mom what she really needs and wants this Mother’s Day- a little well deserved rest and relaxation. Here are three terrific ideas for pampering mom that she’s sure to love. Hot Tub Sale Des Moines

Quiet Time at Home - Some of the most memorable gifts cost no money at all. Organizing a little quiet time for mom is a gift she’s sure to appreciate. After all, who doesn’t need a little peace every now and then? With little kids, big kids, even husbands, getting any time can be a challenge, quiet time is simply unheard of. Collect the kids, the dog, the cat and anyone else who makes noise and take them for an adventure of their own for the day.

Mom will love the idea of having the opportunity to do what she needs to do instead of worrying about everyone else. Collecting her thoughts, reading a book, even catching up on missed phone conversations with a great pal is the perfect way for her to spend a few hours. Quiet time is never expensive and ready anytime, anywhere.

A Spa Day - Sure, a spa day is not really the most creative gift idea for mom, but it’s simply one of the best ways for her to unwind, relax and get pampered. A typical spa package includes a manicure and a pedicure, a facial, a massage and sometimes even a haircut. If mom has never had the satisfaction of a full day’s pampering, you simply must go for it. If she has, then she’ll be even more excited knowing what lies ahead. The best thing about the spa- regardless of how many times you visit, you simply cannot go often enough.

A Calming Hot Tub Soak - If mom suffers from arthritis or chronic back pain, there’s simply nothing like a soak in the hot tub for easing her pain and revitalizing her mind. Heat, massage and buoyancy created by the hot tub work together to increase circulation, take pressure off the joints and ease the discomfort associated with overworked, stressed joints. The hydro-therapeutic health benefits are amazing for long term pain relief as well as soothing and calming the mind. A hot tub before bed is even more relaxing as the warm, massaging water prepares the body to drift off easily in a deep, restful sleep. When you replace the cell phone, the television and everything else with the soothing sounds of bubbling water, mom will be enraptured.

This Mother’s day, treat mom to the gift of rest and relaxation. Whether you choose to pamper her from home with an afternoon of quiet time, send her to the spa or revitalize her mind and body with a bubbly hot tub, mom will be glad she’s a mom. Hot Tub Sale Des Moines
